Connections ESC Region 11 Fall Library Conference 2024
Thursday November 21, 2024 10:45am - 11:30am CST
Now more than ever, advocacy plays a critical role in the library, and librarians need to be equipped with powerful tools and tactics to build a community of support. Whether you are advocating for readership, funding, legislation or otherwise, school librarians can leverage the critical role that their digital library plays in expanding access to books and meeting the unique and diverse needs of students, all while equipping you – the librarian - with data and insights to better track outcomes and tell your story.  In this session, learn tangible insights to leverage the growing benefits of a digital library to enhance your advocacy efforts, secure funding, and ultimately further the mission of your school library.  This session is for those looking to start a digital library and for those exploring new ways to further advocate for an existing ebook and audiobook collection.
