About me
Melissa Silerio is in her sixteenth year of education. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where she received her bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in middle school education and a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a master's degree in library science. Melissa is a member of several committees including the Social Media Co-Chair for the Texas Association of School Libraries, the Texas Library Association's Lone Star Reading List Committee, and The North Texas Teen Book Festival's Steering Committee. She is currently the librarian at James Coble Middle School in Mansfield ISD where she strives to inspire students one book at a time
